Dinotherium giganteum lived between the Miocene to early Pleistocene, and has been mostly found in Europe. It's an extinct relative of the modern elephant, with two downward-turned tusks as a distinctly differing feature. It may have used them to root for underground plants or for scraping bark off of trees.
